Grandmother Spirit
If ever there is a time
when in distress I feel
I simply close my eyes
and at the tree I kneel
Grandmother Spirit show me a time
where there is a world of peace
when I can look up in the sky
and feel relaxed and at ease
She tells me in her loving voice
Dear One, listen to your words
Do you not look into the sky and rejoice
to see with wonder my little birds?
For I am One with you
Otherwise you could not see the sky.
Remember you lay upon me, true?
Otherwise those birds could not pass you by.
See that there is Love, Dear One.
Feel it within you
Know that nothing is undone,
Under this beautiful sky so blue.
